"Die US Otaku-vereniging het my uiters beďndruk met hul ywerige poging om die groot behoefte aan 'n animé-gemeenskap vir die US-kampus, te identifiseer en met welslae te bevredig. Die animé vorm van animasie is al lankal 'n deel van die jeug/studentekultuur en dit was werklik hoogtyd vir studente om hierdie gedeelde passie as 'n geleentheid vir die bou van 'n sosiale basis binne die universiteitgemeenskap, raak te sien.
